WHEN ARE MEETINGS?
Regular meetings are the 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:30, typically at Westmoor Country Club.

HOW MANY MEMBERS CURRENTLY?  Approximately 75 members

WHAT TYPES OF BUSINESS ARE REPRESENTED? A cross section of professional position in small/medium/large businesses and not-for-profits. 

WHAT ARE ANNUAL DUES/COSTS?
$175 Annual Dues    
$30 Each Lunch Attended

MISSION

To develop, support, and empower professional women connected to Waukesha County.

WHAT ARE CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP?

(1)    General Members – Women Executives, Business Owners, Professionals, Community Leaders including those who may be in transition or retired and meet ANY of the following criteria:

  • Level of responsibility: Hold top positions within their organization such as President, CEO, Business Owner, VP, etc. These positions are not listed as an example of title desired in membership, but rather of responsibility levels.
  • Impact:  Oversight or executive of a major project for an organization that has essential and strategic impact in the organization or community-at-large. This may include items such as IPO, public policy, merger or acquisition, community and/or capital campaign.
  • Expertise:  Regarded as a leader in their industry/field.
  • Achievement:  Achieved prominence or recognition for professional accomplishments, which may include lifelong achievement or volunteerism, growth of a business venture and mentorship of others.


(2)    Emerging Leaders – Professional career women who may be considered for membership based on those persons who have been identified as having emerging qualities of leadership, and demonstrate 5 years of professional growth and community involvement.

(3)    Retired – Retired members who became members while employed may elect to change their membership classification to retired by submitting a letter of request to the vice-president-membership.

(4)    Honorary – Tempo Waukesha may confer, by Board vote, honorary membership on any leader who has distinguished himself or herself through leadership and a high level of accomplishment in their business or profession, or who has distinguished themselves through leadership and extraordinary contributions to Tempo Waukesha.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS?
Support the objectives of Tempo® Waukesha, attend monthly meetings, and consider joining a committee (highly recommended).  Potential members are either nominated or endorsed by current members.  New members include emerging leaders, current leaders, and managers holding professional status within their company (or retired persons that served in a leadership role in the community or their organization.  Persons in transition are also welcome.

Completed applications are reviewed and approved by the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors.

MEETING REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS?  
Registration for all lunch meetings occur via member-only emailed information and registration links (payment by MasterCard, Visa or PayPal). Registration should be made the Friday prior to our meeting. You will be emailed for upcoming events.

WHAT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS ARE SUPPORTED?
On a quarterly basis, the Community Impact Committee introduces our membership to a not-for-profit organization operating in Waukesha County. At each meeting, members have an option to provide needed donations (monetary or otherwise) to the selected organization in addition to a contribution from Tempo Waukesha.
