Tempo® Waukesha is a non-profit organization for executive and professional persons in the Waukesha County area. It was established to provide a network for leaders and future leaders, to increase awareness of issues and trends within the community and to develop the strengths and talents of female executives.

Michelle DuBord, President, TEMPO Waukesha 

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as President of TEMPO Waukesha. As I begin this journey, I am inspired by the remarkable women who have built this organization and by the many members who continue to bring their talents, experiences, and passion to our community. For me, the heart of TEMPO Waukesha has always been the people and the meaningful relationships we create with one another.  I have chosen “Connections That Matter” as our theme because I believe the connections we make through TEMPO Waukesha can truly shape our professional journeys, strengthen our community, and enrich our personal lives.

Connections matter when we take the time to know one another beyond our titles and organizations. They matter when we share an idea, introduce someone to a new opportunity, offer encouragement during a challenging season, or celebrate another woman’s success. My hope is that we will continue to create an environment where women feel welcomed, supported, inspired, and empowered to grow. I encourage each of you to engage fully in all that TEMPO Waukesha has to offer through our monthly luncheons, professional development, networking opportunities, committees, and special events. You never know when a simple conversation might become a lasting friendship, a new opportunity, a valuable mentor relationship, or a connection that changes someone’s life.

As we look ahead together, I invite you to be intentional about the connections you make and the impact you have on others. Let’s build bridges across industries, generations, experiences, and perspectives, while continuing the legacy of leadership and positive change that has defined TEMPO Waukesha since 1990. Together, let’s make “Connections That Matter.” Connections that inspire us, challenge us, support us, and ultimately make our organization and our community stronger. History

Tempo® Waukesha was established in 1990 as a non-profit organization of professional and executive women working in the Waukesha County area that seeks to provide an environment to cultivate personal enrichment, connect with other spheres of influence, form lasting relationships and to promote positive change in the Waukesha community.  It is a dynamic organization that seeks to enrich professional development and mentoring through informative and educational monthly meetings held the 4th Tuesday of every month.
